Streamline Your Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure with AWS Integration
Connects advanced network technology and cloud computing to accelerate the network performance
Seamlessly blends innovation, efficiency, and adaptability for a transformative networking experience.
Amazon Route53 is a
highly scalable Domain Name System (DNS) web service that provides
reliable and cost-effective DNS management for your domain names.
It allows you to manage the DNS records, routing policies through
an intuitive web interface or API. With AWS and TCPWave
integration, maximize performance and reliability, streamlining
your cloud infrastructure and DNS management for a secure
experience. Additionally, the changes are synchronized
automatically in Route53.
Enhanced Security and Reliability
Advanced threat intelligence and security features from Route53 to
protect your domain names and DNS records from potential attacks
and vulnerabilities.
Scalability and Flexibility
Ensures that the network infrastructure easily
accommodates changing needs and demands to meet your business's
growth and success.
Improved Efficiency
Experience unparalleled efficiency with TCPWave IPAM's user-friendly web interface and API, enabling seamless DNS management and optimizing your workflow for strategic business growth.
Superior Performance and Cost Savings
Improves performance and delivers cost savings. By
leveraging the power of AWS, you can reduce operational expenses
and optimize your network infrastructure's performance.
AWS Configuration with TCPWave IPAM
The changes performed
in the TCPWave IPAM are automatically replicated in the AWS
console by setting up the AWS Cloud Integration within TCPWave
IPAM with various configuration parameters such as provider type -
AWS, account number, region, account ID and secret key. The created
cloud provider is associated with a zone using the zone template.
AWS Instance Provisioning Template
The AWS Instance
Provisioning Template in TCPwave's IPAM allows users to
effortlessly create, manage, and deploy Amazon Web Services (AWS)
instances directly from the IPAM interface while associating them
with specific objects. The object type must be an AWS Instance.
This streamlined process enhances productivity and minimizes the
risk of errors in your cloud infrastructure management. Moreover,
a single template can be employed to launch multiple AWS
Instances.
AWS Resource-To-Role Mapping
DNS TCPWave
streamlines role-based authentication across AWS accounts,
enabling one account to manage Route53 for multiple accounts
without manual switching. An IAM role with a defined policy is
created in AWS and assigned to an EC2 instance with TCPWave IPAM
AMI. In IPAM, an AWS cloud provider is created using temporary
credentials from the assigned role. Zone-to-account mapping
details are imported to inform the cloud provider of the managing
account and role for each zone. The cloud provider connects to
Route53, adds, updates, or deletes zones as required, and
maintains synchronization between external and internal DNS data.
AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudTrail
Combining AWS Lambda,
CloudFormation, and CloudTrail - TCPWave appliances run within an
AWS VPC to alter VM provisioning using northbound API calls into the
AWS environment. This approach brings the full DNS and IP address
management automation even when using the native AWS provisioning
tools. TCPWave remote appliance automatically creates AWS EC2
instances and DNS records that can be later scheduled to discover
and populate the central management appliance. This procedure
allows on-call provisioning for various AWS items and offerings. In
addition, it also allows to customize the naming and addressing
schemes at the cost of a few extra attempts in scripting and
customization.
DynamoDB
Elevate your business
efficiency and data management with TCPWave's AWS Integration,
powered by DynamoDB. Our solution smartly automates object
management via EC2 instance server operations, while innovatively
creating a CSV file for data transfer, bypassing direct IPAM
updates. This secure and seamless process ensures robust data
handling and control. DynamoDB, our powerhouse NoSQL database
service, effortlessly handles diverse request traffic and infinite
data volumes, guaranteeing high-speed, uninterrupted service. By
choosing TCPWave's AWS Integration, you embrace superior
operational enhancement, advanced data management, and unrivaled
performance. Make the leap to high-performance data management
tailored for the dynamic demands of today's businesses with
TCPWave.
AWS Security Groups
Route53 integration
with TCPWave also provides additional benefits, such as improved
security and availability. Other advanced DNS security features,
such as DNS Firewall and DNS Anomaly Detection, helps you protect
your domain from DNS-based attacks. By integrating TCPWave with
Route53, you can take advantage of these security features while
still benefiting from Route53's scalability and reliability.
AWS Plus 2 resolver
Configuring Route 53
Plus 2 Resolver allows for streamlined management of DNS queries
originating from various Amazon EC2 instances across multiple VPCs,
enhancing the efficiency and reliability of network communication.
It allows IP selection from the VPC's range and setting up multiple
outbound endpoints per region, promoting scalability and
adaptability. AWS Direct Connect, VPN, or NAT gateway ensure
secure, private connections, mitigating data exposure risks.
Establishing rules to direct queries to specific DNS resolvers
provides enhanced network traffic control, improving performance
and reducing latency. This comprehensive setup fosters a secure,
efficient network vital for business continuity and competitive
edge.
Route53 integration with
TCPWave offers an enterprise-grade solution and provides a powerful,
flexible DNS management that helps organizations of all sizes manage
their DNS records more efficiently. This integration addresses the
challenges faced by enterprises in a hybrid cloud environment, such as
limited DNS capabilities, inadequate IP address management, and DNS
security risks. Additionally, it provides enhanced visibility,
consistent management, and security across the entire enterprise.
