TCPWave DDI import wizards are optimized for performance in large organizations. They can handle thousands of records per second and meet the TCPWave DDI referential integrity constraints. If any exceptions arise during the import process, the DDI administrator can examine and perform additional analysis on an exception file produced by the wizards. It also ensures successful migrations. Our solution makes it easy to upload data present in Excel spreadsheets with minimal transformations. This feature can be used to analyze the overall data quality of your DDI data. The export and import wizard can be accessed from the Bulk Operations menu item in the user interface. Once the wizard appears, the user can select the functions required to perform the desired export or import operation. The user is prompted through screens by clicking the following, next, and OK buttons. Once the user interaction is complete, the TCPWave DDI performs the desired export or import action.
The import process may encounter errors that require remediation by adding the data needed for TCPWave DDI's data integrity constraints. For example, if an orphaned CNAME record is encountered without the matching A record, it will be displayed in the exception report. Similarly, orphaned mail exchanger records can be cleaned up if a legacy mail server's object definition was deleted, but the corresponding MX records were not deleted. For the export operation, the DDI administrator needs at least read-only permission. However, for the import operation, read-write permission is required to process the input files and add new entries to the DDI database.
